Mick Easterby might be getting close to 100 years old but he´s still got his marbles intact, when he takes over an horse from another trainer the first job is to get back to winnable mark,CAN YOU CONGA is a prime example, after running three times for his new connections his mark has dropped to 83 from 88, last time out at Thirsk he showed a first sign of life when finishing 8/18 in a decent h´cap,despite being drawn on the wrong side he wasn´t beaten far, still lightly raced their should be more to come and Graham Gibbons is an excellent jockey booking,this looks like d-day,if we take that recent Thirsk h´cap has gospel then CRUISE TOTHELIMIT is the stand out, he would have 3 lengths in hand on the selection,however, the 6 year old had the run of that race, he was drawn on the right side of the track and led for a long way, whilst he should run his race we see a reversal coming, BABY STRANGE is very soft, she would need everything to fall right if she was to win!

CHEPSTOW 15.45 ALMAX 7-1  Chandler

Michael Bell´s gelding looks like one of a few potential improvers in a race that might not take a lot of winning, his mark of 54 looks very interesting and at odds of 13-2 he´s got to be worth a punt,whilst ALMAX didn´t show much in three runs he did do much better in his first h´cap,the  easier ground at Ffos Las was certainly one aspect of why he did better and of course it´s much easier from a low h´cap mark ,with regards to that race,after starting slowly  he was seen making late headway from off the pace, everything suggested an extra furlong like today´s wouldn´t go amiss,with many things appearing to be in his favor we fancy him to beat the likes of EUROQUIP BOY who doesn´t appear to get a strongly run 7 furlongs, MISTER MEYDAY managed to win a race but he´s a tough ride, he always goes to the start before the others and he doesn´t like the starting stalls,hardly a betting proposition, DIMITAR is an all weather specialist!

CHEPSTOW 16.20 SEAL ROCK 11-4 Bet 365-Hills-Uni-32Red-888sports! (Premium bet)

Chepstow is a bit of a specialists course so you never know how they will run here, with regards to the selection,he was once rated 99 so with a mark of only 72 it doesn´t take long to identify the attraction, having his first run for John Quinn at Carlisle he managed to win by three parts of a length from Enderby spirit, whilst that form doesn´t stand out has being anything special he travelled very strongly and appeared to win with a bit in hand, all 5 wins have been at 6 furlongs and whilst he handles any type of ground a bit of give suits him best, a 4 pound penalty seems fair, GRAMERCY is a dog, he came to win his race after being ridden along for most of the race over this course and distance,that he didn´t go through with the effort stamps him has one to avoid, THREETIMESALADY might have more to give and she´s a lively outsider, SEA ROCK should be even better on this track and we expect him to follow up!

KILBEGGAN 16.25 TIGER TREK 5-1 Ladbrokes (Premium bet)

These odds are pure crazy,i can understand he´s not run for the best part of 9 months but that can have a positive effect has he needed to strengthen up,the Tiger Hill gelding has raced against much better animals than he encounters today,i´ve dissected his form, watched his races and looked at the opposition, this horse is worth a mark of 120, his 8/17 was won by a horse rated mid 140´s ,others in that race who finished behind him where rated 120+, his second to Ange Balafre stands up to the closest inspection (could have won with a clear run), being by Tiger hill he will appreciate this better ground, with all due respect, ALILEO will need to improve a lot, he was beaten by OSCAR VESPIAN, current rating 101 , whilst that was his first hurdle the form itself is near to 20 pounds inferior to that of the selection, has a 13 race maiden he´s hardly a natural born winner, i would lay his current odds of 7-4 all day, CAPTAIN CARLETON was brushed aside by LANDAU at Downpatrick, he looks a bit one paced and he might need easier ground, all the same we see him has next best and we look forward to him going chasing!

KILBEGGAN 18.30 SILVER TASSIE 2-1 Bet365 (Premium bet)

Novice chasers, love them! , anyone telling you that betting in novice chases is suicide is out of touch with reality,in fact,this race type is very valuable to us has professional punters, with regards to the selection, he would certainly prefer a little further and fences should see him in a much better light, in all fairness, his hurdles mark of 124 gives him away has being half decent and granted a clear round he´s the one they have to beat,BONIFACIO is running well but here are the blatant facts, he was only rated 44 on the flat and 95 hurdles, whilst he ran a promising first chase he has absolutely no scope whatsoever, his career win record is 2 from 44, he can only win by default and i very much doubt that will be the case, SIZING JO´BURG was a terrible jumper of hurdles and he´s not the biggest or most robust horse out there, granted that he made a mark of 125 over the sticks and this trip should suit him best, however, their´s a bit of a tip in the jockey booking, the lad that rides him at home has been entrusted and that in itself suggests they are not very confident, he´s too dopey in my opinion,i would prefer TISAMYSTERY from the same stable, he simply looks more reliable that JO´BURG!
